"Kings Heath Grange Day Nursery children have been taking part in yoga classes for the last 3 years.
These classes have been a complete success. Rachel has combined yoga with learning, using nursery rhymes, numbers adn animals. This has resulted in yoga becoming a positive experience.
Thursday has become our busiest day."
J Phull, Kings Heath Grange Day Nursery
"The children looked forward to these sessions and enjoyed them enormously. When I questioned the children about their experiences the responces were all very positive.
Joseph felt his "brain worked better" and Rhea liked moving her legs like a butterfly. The children said that some exercises were quite difficult to do if you are only 5!
The yoga sessions gave the children a very welcome opportunity to be calm and to relax at the end of the school day. It placed a high value on the skills of being calm and quiet.
Thank you, Rachel, for such a lovely experience."

" When we first joined, Morgane was going through a very "clingy" stage and I was very concerned she would not be in the class without me. You worked your magic as she went straight into the class, stayed for the full 1/2 hour and came out with the biggest smile on her face.
Yoga helped her later on to combat the onset of a stutter; I kept telling Morgane that when she couldn't say a word she first had to breath and relax like she did in yoga and the word would come out! This worked really well!
Overall, I would say that attending yoga has taught Morgane control (Thank you), discipline through fun, socialising and of course, a better knowledge of her body."
